Yesterday was such a weird day.
It wasn't really until the evening that something 'exciting' was going to happen. I got picked up by Tilman & Bastian to go to a party at Alexanderplatz; however, the queue was so long that we decided to go back to my place, or onto our roof, to be exact.
It was truly beautiful; from there we had a great view of Berlin. Surely, it wasn't possible to see everything, but still. The lights of many households, offices and a huge manufactory enlightened the neighbourhood; the view was magnificent but somehow melancholic. Even though we shared a lot of laughter and smiles, we were profoundly enjoying and cherishing the moment of utter peacefulness. There was something in the air that no words on the world can ever describe. And that's when it dawned on me how much I've actually missed being home; how much I've missed being with my friends and family; that they mean the world to me.

At that moment, it felt like I had finally arrived.
I'm back.
