It's the first of December today and slowly but surely it's dawning on me that it's Christmas soon. All the signs of winter are already present; when I opened my curtains this morning I saw nothing but little white flocks being carried around by the heavy wind. Later, having sat my second Biology exam, the clouds made way for the sun. At the end of the day, we've enjoyed at least a little warming light coming down from the blue sky, even though this didn't lessen the cold. It was absolutely freezing today (-10°C)!
Anna's mum was so kind to cook lunch for us and drive us back to school, which saved us a long walk to the bus stop whilst worrying about our ears freezing off. However, our day was not going to end happily, since we stood waiting at the bus stop for nearly half an hour. Definitely not the best thing to happen, but at least it wasn't just me by myself nearly freezing to death.
