When we first heard about the WMP fashion flea market - a fusion between the traditional English Jumble Sale and the Berlin Flohmarkt - we got really enthusiastic about it. However, as we arrived, we did not find a huge paradisiac flea market as imagined but a small so called 'betahouse'. It was even more disappointing when we entered, encountering a little room with about 5 tables, a bar and lots of (over-priced) vintage stuff. Eventually it dawned to us that this might be one of those places where people were trying to make money out of allegedly vintage clothing/shoes/accessories since this is currently in vogue. Being rather gutted about this flea market, we went for a meal at Miss Saigon, a lovely and cosy Vietnamese Restaurant at Kottbusser Tor. In the end, this definitely made our day since it was absolutely delicious.
Later on, after having spent some time at my house, Annika, Anna & I met up with Carla for a drink at St. Oberholz which is a delightful café at Rosenthaler Platz offering a comfortable and warmhearted atmosphere. There, we made up some holiday plans for next year and now, I'm more than looking forward to summer!
Another gorgeous evening with even more gorgeous people.
